Schools in New Zealand haven't got a good reputation - mostly due to the fact that bullying is not properly dealt with. Our own experience of four schools in West Auckland definitely bear that out. But then there are jewels shining through, and Konini Primary is one such school with a principal and teachers working hard to make a difference.
The children of that school worked all year on artwork to decorate their school and the result is an amazing enviro-maze, which was unveiled recently and opened by the mayor of Auckland, Len Brown.
